Transfer AirPort Time Capsule to External Drive

My 3TB AirPort Time Capsule is going out on me. Bad fan and all, so I decided to just get a Seagate Personal Cloud NAS. What I need to do now is transfer the files OFF of the TC and ONTO the Seagate. I have the Seagate plugged into Ethernet port on my router, and another ethernet cord coming from router to the WAN port on the TC, but I still don't see it anywhere. What would be the best way for me to do this? I don't have any USB and using MacBook Air so no ethernet ports on it.

I just want to make sure I understand the current condition of the TC. Are you saying that it will not power-up so that it could be accessible from the network ... OR that it can, but it may not be configured properly so that it can be accessed?

Second, is your goal to transfer Time Machine backups from the TC to the Seagate NAS or just other files?

You might not be aware that the USB port on the Time Capsule is old and slow USB 2.0....and....that the processor inside the Time Capsule runs at only about half the speed of a USB 2.0 port on a computer.....so the file transfer would probably take even longer using USB than wireless.

If transfer speed is important, stop the current transfer, order the Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter and run the transfer when the adapter arrives.
