How to bypass/reset firmware password

Hi, my school has put a firmware password on my MacBook pro-2012 13" and I want to install windows 10 using boot camp. I have installed everything on my USB and I need to boot to my USB by holding the option on startup. When I try to boot a lock appears which is the firmware password and I don't know what it is. The password also blocks me from accessing recovery mode too. I try to take out one ram module but when I went to reset the pram thing the lock showed up so I couldn't do that. What can I do besides going to apple to fix it? All I want to do is a boot to my windows USB so if you can find another way to do so than I would highly appreciate it.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.3), mid 2012 13"
