Your request could not be completed because of an error. try again later

When going onto iforgot trying to unlock my account after logging in, I get the following error when trying to get an email sent "Your request could not be completed because of an error. try again later"


I would normally go through security questions but we use the account I'm trying to recover for a school itunes and unfortunately I do not know the answers as someone set the account up before I worked in the school...

I understand you are receiving an error when trying to unlock an Apple ID. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

If you're attempting this directly on your iPhone, I would first recommend attempting this on a computer. If you're already using a computer, try a different web browser if one is available.

If you continue to receive this same error, Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security .
