How to install quicktime 7.7.9 on Windows XP?

Can someone please help me with this? I have a Windows XP VM (2 GB RAM, 192 GB disk space (32GB main+160GB data), 1 core virtual CPU) running in VirtualBox on Windows 7, and I want to install QT 7.7.9 on it, but it keeps saying it needs Win7 or newer. How do I get it to install on XP? 😠 In this thread, someone succeeded in installing it on Win2000, which is older than XP, so I know it's possible:

RIP QuickTime for Windows. Apple is "deprecating support" for the application, and will no longer patch security flaws in the software.

In this regard, QuickTime for Windows now joins Microsoft Windows XP and Oracle Java 6 as software that is no longer being updated to fix vulnerabilities, and subject to ever-increasing risk as more and more unpatched vulnerabilities are found affecting it.

So, Windows users should uninstall Quicktime. How to do so is detailed here:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205771

Mac OS users should not do so as the security risks that have prompted this do not affect the Apple OS.

I know XP is unsupported by MS, and Windows QT unsupported by Apple (Why did they stop making QT for Windows?), but I still want to know how to install QT 7.7.9 on it. If 黒猫w2k (as seen in the post I referenced above) can install it on Win2000, then it should be possible for me to install it on WinXP 32-bit which is more recent than Win2000. What I want to know is how to do that. Someone, please tell me how to install it on XP!
