I'm experiencing Safari/Grammarly problems!
I'm typing along happily, when all of a sudden my cursor jumps to another part of the text and continues my typing—usually in the middle of a word. Replacing the cursor where it belongs and continuing is futile as the cursor will not stay put. Once it starts, I pretty much have to start over, or quit my task out of frustration.
This last happened in Facebook in Safari on a Mac. I have not tested with other browsers as of yet. Although, I am typing here and not seeing the issue. Perhaps it's only happening on certain websites or under certain conditions?
I experienced lots of waiting, freezing and various issues with Messages.app, Slack app, and even Safari after I installed the Grammarly app for MacOS. After I uninstalled it (including deleting the Grammarly folder in the Applications Support folder) - everything seems to have returned to normal. I suspect that with Grammarly running in the background checking every active text field, any delays with Grammarly processes would cause problems in the host app - but just my wild guess.
None so far. I use it every day without issue.
If you would post what problems you are having, someone may be able to help you.
yes, it disabled my keyboard shortcuts. I reported the bug weeks ago, unknown if they responded because I used a fake email in case they were bogus and wanted to spam me.
