Apple Music pausing automatically?

In the past few days I've noticed some playback issues with Apple Music. If I walk around with my headphones plugged in listening to music, the music will automatically pause, or it will jump or fast forward.

Another reoccurring issue is that voice control keeps coming on automatically whenever I have my headphones in listening to music. I have disabled voice control and Siri in the general setting and I have updated iOS to the latest version. I notice these problems only occur when I have my headphones plugged in.
