It is a magic mouse 2. There is no primary mouse button in System Preferences : Mouse on my version of El Capitan. I did figure it out! You want to check Secondary click on Left Side, that then makes the Primary click on the Right side The whole point of a left handed mouse is that you can still use your index finger for the Primary action. Changing it over to the left side doesn't do that unless you change the way the mouse works! Clearly.... your not left handed!
I'm not trying to be mean here, but just move it to the left side of the keyboard?
If you instead want to change the designation of left/right-click then you will find that setting here:
System Preferences > Mouse > Primary mouse button
Understood, glad you found the setting. What's interesting is that I support several left-handed computer users, and some simply move the mouse to the right side yet leave the click settings alone, whereas others change the click settings as well. They laugh when I temporarily move the mouse back to the right while I'm helping them. So, as you guessed, I am clearly not left handed.
which mouse?
