Why do 5x7 size requests print smaller than 5x7

When I print a 5x7 print with Zoom and Crop option checked, to get full 5x7 size from an 8x10 scanned image, why does it print as a 3 11/16x5 image? This is not even the proper aspect ratio which should be the same as 5x7 When printing with the Zoom and Crop not checked, the image is 5x6 1/4, which is the aspect ratio of an 8x10 print as expected.

Using a Canon iP8500 printer. The Print Preview accurately shows what the size of the actual printed image will be, i.e., too small and wrong aspect ratio.

How do I get the proper size?

You solved it, kinda. Since 2 5x7s will fit on a 8 1/2x11 sheet, and iPhoto shows 2 per page, I made the rash assumption that I could print that way. When I checked the 1 per page option, as a result of your question, it prints exactly 5x7. So I can print a true 5x7.

But it burns me that I have to use one page per print when I should be able to do two per page. I assume it is a glitch. Maybe it will be fixed in the next version.

Anyway, thanks for the reply. It allows me to do what I want.
