Refunded purchase; not recieved

I refunded a purchase about 2 and a half weeks ago and got the confirmation of the refund the day after and yet i still hace not gotten my money back. The purchase no longer shows up in my purchased.

In my experience it is very rare for refunds not to be paid. Usually one has to allow about 3 -4 days because of the institutional tardiness with which banks work. My thoughts were that a second reminder would probably produce an explanation.
