Dropbox has several limitations & an Etrecheck report

is totally in your Mac and is added to your discussion.

And right into the post; there's nothing secret in there.

I'm having to go offline as the time is getting late here.

Guess I may download the Zip content but avoid

excess wastes of costly bandwidth. This is mostly

what I do online, other than a few email a month;

and some search for honest fact, not alternatives.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂

There are general understandings about things such as Kernel Panics

and Crash logs that may help someone with technical skill deduce the

cause behind their happening. ~ Your dropbox has many pages of stuff.

So many in fact, I was urged to open an account so I could download.

Hopefully someone with better bandwidth and faster connection with an understanding

of details in your giant report file can access that & explain what it means. If it were

mine, I'd look into how to understand them and attempt to resolve it.

Usually a crash or panic may be related to Hardware or Software; sometimes these

have conflicts (applications from different makers, in same Mac OS X, etc) or old and

new drivers for different stuff don't get along. Or memory upgrade from marginal brand

where quality is not consistent or where incorrect RAM chips were installed, etc. In a

few cases, the hard disk drive could be failing & may corrupt system files; this, a cause.

An Etrecheck report may be helpful, to see your configuration details:

In any event...

For some which have active parts inside that confuse this, you'd probably

have to open TextEdit and copy/paste or drag/drop the highlighted section

you wanted to save. For smaller areas & few words, a screenshot works.

The camera icon in the discussion control can upload image from Mac, etc.

Others who have logged crash or kernel reports (or if etrecheck, in its app)

don't seem to have an issue. System reports generally are already in readable

form with a link from Console; or at least in some Mac OS X versions.

I see several power and related issues repeated in the Log file (it opens in

TextEdit, the native OS X application) so perhaps a reset of the SMC as

mentioned earlier as something to try, is worthy of the effort. However if

there is a hardware failure in that component as it attaches to logic board

the wireless device may need to be correctly tested by an expert.

System Management Controller is a type of power management circuit chip

& a 'reset' may help the various hardware better communicate with software.

Also note the NVRAM info at the end of SMC article. + Save those page links.

Good luck & happy trails! 🙂
