Logic Remote not working on ad hoc or Bluetooth

Running Logic Pro X under Mac OS 10.12.3

Updated system and Logic.

Since updating Logic Remote will connect when I'm using my home Wifi Network.

If I set up a ad hoc network Logic Remotes sees my computer but won't connect.

Ditto for Bluetooth.

I tried trashing the preference files multiple times to no avail as posted here :

Logic Remote doesn't connect to your Mac after update to iOS 8 - Apple Support

I need to remote control Logic in a live concert situation where there IS NO WIFI.

This worked perfectly before updating to 10.12.3

Any workaround or suggestions?

Hi,

I'm in same problem, and I found temps solution.

this is NOT a true solution, but sometime it will works well.

1. create ad hoc network on your Mac

2. connect your iDevice to this network

3. launch Logic Remote on your iDevice

4. Logic Remote can't connect to host Logic Pro... then click "disconnect from" from Wi-Fi status menu on your Mac

5. now Logic Remote will connect correctly

I don't know why this solution works. and sometime it doesn't work. very unstable.

I hope it will help.
