Password Reset and Key chain?

I'm working with a client who is on a mixed environment, where they use Active Directory for their user credentials, and when the passwords are reset Key chain is not being notified correctly and as a result the Apple device is falling out of sync with the users Enterprise ID.

It my understanding from reading several support documents related to this issue that this can be remediated if by using a configuration profile to deliver the password reset notification to Key chain. Is that correct, and if so does anyone have any examples of this?

Support is trying to leverage the Apple Enterprise connect as the solution for this problem, and it might be the solution they should have went with long ago, however is their any other low cost, or no cost options that might be available to resolve this key chain drama?

Any suggestions, or insight on this issue is greatly appreciated.

Yes, there is a cheaper product that (so far as I can tell) offers many (most? all?) of the same features as Enterprise Connect. That product is called NoMAD: https://nomad.menu/

It claims to address the issue of keeping Mac login & keychain passwords in sync with Active Directory. I haven't tested this claim yet, but I am evaluating both Enterprise Connect and NoMAD, with an eye toward getting one or the other.

The problem is that Enterprise Connect is the most under-documented product Apple has ever sold. You can search Apple's website high and low, but you won't find a single mention of this $5,500 bit of software.
