QuickTime and Adobe Flash Players

I am trying to download QuickTime and Adobe Flash players so I can play my Amazon movies. I get error messages on both, even though I've selected the MAC El Capitan version. Anyone have a solution?

But I'm not using FCP. I'm using QT Player 10 and 7. My .avi files are from older Canon SureShot and Panasonic cameras.

However, I just downloaded sample avi files from High Speed Camera Sample AVI Files and they would not play.

The Canon files must be the Motion jpeg avi files which Quicktime can play.

VLC can easily convert the avi files to a format that Quicktime can play.
