Charging Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
Will Wireless Keyboard & Mouse charge while computer is off and the charging cable is connect through the USB port of the computer, instead of an outlet?

These are Apple's instruction regarding charging.
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT205160 As you can see, the computer can be switched off. But bear in mind that charging is done more slowly then. Usually, a few minutes charge will give you a few days usage and a full charge (about 2 hours) will give you 6 to 8 weeks usage.
