syncing movies to ipod touch

FWIW, if the movie was downloaded from Apple, it should show up in your library on your iPod. It will have a cloud icon when you select it. This will allow you to add it to your iPod without doing a sync.

Sounds like somethings not right with your iPod. You should see your library. Is there anything at the bottom of the app? If the app is truly empty/blank, you might want to consider resetting your device or setting it up as a new device. The app should not be blank. And if you can see the movies on your device - Settings > General > Storage and iCloud Usage > Storage > Manage Storage, then they should show up in the TV app.

I'm having the exact same problem. I synch movies but when i tap "TV" app I just get a blank screen or a message that there is no Wifi connection. But If I've downloaded the movie I shouldnt need internet connection. Thats the main reason I bought a large GB ipod. Very frustrating.

What if any messages do you get? The TV icon is new to iOS 10 and is what is used to play movies, TV shows etc.

Select your device via this icon, check the Movies and TV Shows tabs to ensure you have content selected to sync, then sync.

Do you see a message in the status area of iTunes saying Copying x of x <movie name> when you sync? I just put a movie on my touch and it worked as expected.
