Logic Pro X system overload driving me crazy
Hi everyone,
So currently I am making music using Logic Pro X, in two weeks I have to deliver a hand full of beats to a vocalist for an album that will be published.
For years I have been using FL studio with my windows PC, but I decided to make the switch to Logic because it increases my workflow and I wanted some variaton.
The first two weeks it worked smoothly, but now there is this thing that is driving me crazy.
I am in the middle of producing my beat, (I haven't even used a lot of plugins and tracks yet) and suddenly the beat stops playing and this pop-up shows, saying: "System overload. The audio engine was unable to process all required data in time. You can try increasing the I/O buffer size Multithreading option at Logic Pro X >Preferences>Audio>Devices, and set the ReWire Behavior to Off if not needed."
So I have done all these things, and they make literally no difference.
My computer specs are:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-ince, Early 2015)
Processor: 3,1 GHZ Intel Core i7
RAM: 16G GB 1867 MHz DDR3
When I search for this problem on google and forums, I see people telling to increase the RAM. But I bought a MacBook with 16 GB RAM specifically for the purpose of producing in logic. And as far as I know 16 GB is the max amount of RAM available.. So what should I do now to run Logic smoothly?
Please help me out if you know how to fix this, since my deadline is getting closer and closer and it would be very unfortunate if I don't have anything to deliver because of a software problem like this.. If anyone could help I would be very very thankful.
Thanks in advance.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 10.2.1
