How to force re-download an app from the Mac App Store?

I manually deleted an app downloaded from the Mac App Store because it would not delete from Lanuchpad; I clicked and held on the app icon, when it started to jiggle I clicked the 'X' on the icon and on the pop up I selected 'Delete' yet it just sat there. So, I used the AppCleaner app to remove the said app and all contents found in relation to it. Now though on the App Store; it shows 'Open' as if it is still installed on the 'Purchased' tab and on the app' store page. What I was planning on doing is to re-download and install the app and then once again attempt to delete from Launchpad.

App in question: Battery Health 2
