You don't register the lyrics, they're part of the loop, it is royalty free, there's no copyright restriction to deal with. You can't copyright the loop or its content by itself, but you can copyright an overall composition that uses it. It will simply be a royalty free loop that you used inside of a larger copyrighted composition. But the loop itself will remain royalty free.
Be really careful when using Apple Loops in your commercial composition. You know that other composers use the same loops. Besides the fact that sooner or later all the music sounds the same (or does it already?), you have to make sure not to use any "public domain" material too dominantly in your song.
If your song uses Apple Loop X and another composer uses the same Apple Loop X, then Google's Content ID mechanism and other algorithm might flag your song as copyright infringement (or the other guy) and you just have a potential legal mess with lawyers at your hand.
PS: Stay away from the Apple Loop "Vintage Funk Kit 03" especially when played in 90BPM
Hope that helps

So I guess now, on account of your rather transparant attempty at reverse psychology, you expect me to pull up loop VFK 03, throttle Logic back to 90 and tell you the songtitles this one is used in...? Well, don't count on me... not doing that!!! Hahahahaha! I am going to do that immediately after I have posted this!!! Hahaha!!! But be warned: if I don't recognise it at all! I will be soooo displeased! And I will then demand you to link to welknown tracks using it!!! So there!
And rest assured that these are all really really empty threats, and I will not follow up in any way if you don't respond or react. Ha!
Yes, I can understand why you are trembling.
😮😁
You know, it is one of those songs I barely hear in the background in the supermarket or shopping mall about once every two years or so. I knew the chorus was the famous -ella-ella-echo, but it never appealed to me, so I never really listened to it. But yeah, that's VFK 03 allright, pimped up a bit, and with a clap added to the snare.
But seriously, I just listened to VFK 03 @ 90 BPM, but the drums don't ring a bell. So where is it used?
Seriously, never heard that little tune?
That's a good example for all those snobby DAW users that look down on Loops as something for the "Kindergarten" Producers, unless that's what you call Jay-Z. 😎
