Hi everyone I'm hoping someone can help!
Using an external hard drive for my iTunes library but after updating iTunes I'm getting a delayed write fail when trying to open iTunes.
The hard drive is working fine as I can go into it and view photos stored on it.
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?
Delayed writing is a Windows caching mechanism. Your best bet is to do a web search of 'delayed write failed' or 'windows delayed write failed' and see if anything matches your specific error. Simply put, something needs to be written to disk but is being delayed until a later time when the system isn't so busy with other disk associated tasks.

I would advise that you disable write-caching on the drive hosting the iTunes library.
