FCPX export project to USB

I Just bought a new IMAC and am new to FCPX. I am getting the hang of. I wanted to know what is the proper way to export my footage. I don't want to use a dvd and a USB seems much better.not sure how big i can expect this file to be. From what I have learned exporting my project as a master file is ok and then just dropping it onto a USB. unless i am wrong, and you have a better suggestion? Please let me know.

*I am using a Sony-X70

*I have 1hour and 30 minutes of footage.

Just to confirm i do believe my clips are 1920x1080 ?(after clicking on your project if you go to the upper right hand corner you see this )

Once I click the Modify button, I get this menu I am a bit confused as to what Video or Rendering Options i should choose

the Video is already set to 1080HD. I should just leave it at this or can I choose another video option that can help the video quality or in any other way?

Now For the Rendering Option I Read That Apple ProRes 4444XQ is the highest quality.

Am I ok with Apple ProRes 4444? is 4444xQ over kill? What do you suggest? Keep in mind i would like to export my project to a usb. (idk if that helps in choosing this type of rendering)

Ok , So Im ready to export my project. Choosing Master file is ok right?

My issue is when i go to the video codec options.

this is what I get

Apple ProRes 4444XQ -> 667GB est

Apple ProRes 4444 -> 448GB est

Apple ProRes 422HQ -> 303GB est

Apple ProRes 422 -> 206GB est

Apple ProRes 422LT -> 147GB est

Apple ProRes 422 Proxy -> 71.6GB est

H.264 -> 32GB est

I am not sure which option I should choose. Exporting times will be long if i choose a codec with higher gigabytes.

Does quality play a significant role here? what do you suggest?Which codec can fit my needs.

Do you want to export (share) your edited movie or the footage?

Where are you going with this media?

What will you play it on or with?

You base your share options on these criteria, not necessarily unachievable changes in quality. Your footage cannot get any better than the original so join to 2k from 1080 is unnecessary. 4444 is only useful for supporting alpha channel information and highly specialized production interchanges. You do not need 4444. If you are going to play this back on a PC or a TV, you want mpeg4 output, H.264. All of these options have consequences on your output file size and the time required to transcode.

Let's start with the first set of questions.
