Letter assignment for hardware keyboard Zagg

Hello everybody,

I've just purchased a keyboard from Zagg which works pretty cool. The only problem that I have is the Bulgarain Phonetic. In general they exist two major Bulgarian keyboard settings: 1.phonetic - Cyrillic letters which coincide with the Latin letter are matched, (e.g. both Cyrillic and Latin "a" are at the same place) and the Cyrillic specific letters are placed around the keyboard (e.g. our sound of "sh" is ш and it's on "[" place). 2. BDS (Bulgarian State Standard) where the letters are set on some special principle: vowels to the left and consonants to the right.

I, as a multilingual, prefer phonetic because I have to remember less key combinations.

So usually hardware keyboards in Phonetic have the "ch" letter ( ч ) in place of § (key up next to 1). I dunno why but on my iPad (first Air series), when I type in Phonetic it goes § sign. I tried all the rest of of the letters and combinations and I didn't find ч...

Does anyone have idea how this can be reset?

Thank you.

Hello Tom, I did previously this morning a test on my GF's Mac. I pared the Zagg Keyboard with it and I found one option which fixed it: it's the ISO Standard of the keyboard. The ч character works in ISO9955 (or something like this, European Standard). However, can I change this setting to the ipad? I checked all the options but I haven't found such. What about your proposal, i.e. how to make text replacement?
