Early Flight + Daylight Savings + Alarm

OK. I've got a 6:40am flight on Sunday which means I have to wake up at 4:30. Daylight Savings does whatever it does at 2am. If I set my iPhone alarm the night before for 4:30 will I wake up at the actual 4:30? Would it adjust the wake up time, too? Current plan is to go to Target and get a $10 basic alarm clock because DST is weird on a day that I'm not traveling, let alone one I have to wake up early for. Not to mention I'm flying across the country so it's just going to be a complete fog.

There is nothing to adjust as far as the 'wake up time' goes. When the time changes at 02:00 to 03:00, the phone should update automatically. The only possible problem there is if your cellular carrier had an issue with the time on their towers.

If it were me, I'd set an alarm for 3:30. Check to make sure everything updated when it goes off, then snooze for another hour, followed by consuming half a pot of high test coffee...
