iTunes Crashes When attempting to download

I start Apple iTunes. It Syncs up and shows me what TV Shows are in my library for download. When I expand the listing of a TV Series to show all the episodes, and click the little cloud button to download a specific or new episode, iTunes Crashes hard. This also occurs anytime I try other means to download only a single episode. (Like right clicking the single episode and selecting Download)

If I do not Expand the listing of episodes from on the main page that shows all my different TV Shows but, instead, I simply Click the little cloud button to download EVERY Episode, it begins the download immediately without issue. I then have to open the listing of downloads, hit the "pause downloads" button, delete all the episodes I do not want to download from the list of episodes being downloaded, and then hit "resume downloads" button to get only the episode I want.

It is like Apple iTunes will not allow me to to download only a single episode of a show.
I have tried completely removing iTunes from my system and deleting ALL iTunes folders (including the one in my AppData Folder). After this I re-downloaded the most recent iTunes executable install file from Apple and re-installed.

Still no joy from this... It really is becoming annoying.

Walked thru the entire Fix unexpected quits or launch issues in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support before posting here as the last piece on that page states

Still hoping after my multiple hours trying to find a fix that someone might be able to assist or find something I have not tried yet... Maybe I will get lucky...
I only use iTunes for Movies and TV shows... Am hoping I do not run in to anything more serious than this in accessing my TV Series and Movies... While this is extremely annoying... at least I can still download... it's just a little more complicated than just clicking the little cloud link...

It sounds as if you did a thorough clean up of the iTunes installation, but just in case see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

You will have tried signing out of the iTunes Store and then back in again?

You tested behaviour in a new empty library in a new empty user profile?

You've tried deauthorizing and then reauthorizing your computer?

You did a hold Ctrl+Shift when launching iTunes to open it in safe mode, which also makes it run some internal db checks?

Try Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows. Create the folder ..\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads if it doesn't exist already and make sure the right permissions exist for it.

Exclude the iTunes folder from any real-time AV scanning.

You could give up and simply download everything without cancelling so that future downloads of the season only have to fetch what is new. The less bandwidth intensive version of that is to use preferences to hide everything you've already watched and don't want to download. Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support.

I think that is all that comes to mind right now, but if anything else suggests itself I'll come back to you.

Many thanks... here is exactly what I have tried in response to questions

You will have tried signing out of the iTunes Store and then back in again? Yep 🙂 ✅

You tested behaviour in a new empty library in a new empty user profile? yep 🙂 ✅

You've tried deauthorizing and then reauthorizing your computer? Have not tried this but will tonight... 😕

Exclude the iTunes folder from any real-time AV scanning. 🙂 ✅ I don't run AV Software on my system... I Stay away from Bad Sites, Bad Email Attachments, and other assorted things...

I am deployed overseas so downloading everything might take a couple of years... I get an episode a night most of the time here... Laugh... though I might start on a show and just let it run... Guess I could move my library to an external drive do to space issues on my laptop's internal drive if I do download everything...

There are times when I do wish iTunes had a Linux Client... (I don't use emulation software on my Linux system) would be so much easier as my Linux system has tons more space than my Microsoft system

I need to look in to the hiding of everything I already watched... as my wife uses my Apple TV at home to watch TV Shows... Need to know if that would affect things on an account basis or just my computer... Will have to look in to that... just to be safe

Stay safe and thanks for suggestions...
