Does Early 2011 MacBook Pro support external Apple 23" Cinema Display?
Does Early 2011 MacBook Pro support external Apple 23" Cinema Display (see below for specs of Cinema Display)?
My computer: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2011), 2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256 MB
My computer has one Thunderbolt port.
I am buying a Belkin Thunderbolt 2 Express HD Dock (F4U085tt) and an Apple DVI to HDMI cable.
Both Thunderbolt ports on the Belkin dock will be used up because I have an audio interface for music production going into one of the ports and the other port goes to the computer.
So I will be going into the HDMI port on the dock via the Apple DVI to HDMI cable.
Can the graphics card in the MacBook Pro handle the external display?
Thanks!
