Auto-locked i-Pad mini with a nonexisten/disfunctional icloud account

So my friend has had this problem since forever but now has come back to bite her. Somehow, her icloud account showed an account that was misspelled but *** she tried to log out of it, it couldn't since that password didn't apply to that nonexisten account. The misspell was in "(her-email)@icoud.com" INSTEAD of "(her-email)@icloud.com".

We do not know nor remeber how it got to that but it couldn't be taken out; fast forward a couple of months and now the new updates required an apple id. Now she cannot acces her iPad mini and is blocked out. The problem is that she is really dense with technology another person created her icloud account and now can't remember any of the questions since it happened almost five years ago and none of them remember the answers to any security question.

This is our last resort, she is willing to reset anything and does not mind losing anything from her previus icloud account since she has made a new one and it was mostly used for games, nothing important; if nothing can be done she will find some clandestine shop to unlock it, or she will have to resell it and buy another.

She could try contacting Support in her country and see if they can reset the account's password for her : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support

Or, and if she was the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it wasn’t bought used), she could try going to an Apple Store (she should make a Genius Bar appointment if she does) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it

if nothing can be done she will find some clandestine shop to unlock it, or she will have to resell it and buy another.

Shops can't remove activation lock ; and she shouldn't sell it whilst it's activation locked.
