Apple Watch dead pixels

Hey everybody. So I have an Apple Watch series 1 sport running watchOS 3.1.3 and I just noticed some black spots on the screen. This appeared after the battery died, and when I went to put it on after it finished charging I saw them. They're clearly visible on the white background you see in the picture. The Watch was purchased on April 28, 2016 and it is now March 11, 2017 as I'm writing this. This Watch has never been dropped, water damaged, scratched, it is in perfect condition cosmetically, yet I still don't understand why there would be dead pixels. I don't have a warranty with this so I was wondering what I could do. I've never had a problem with apple products but seeing how I've had this for less than a year is really disappointing.

Hi

Given the nature of the issue, I suggest that you contact Apple Support, make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to arranging for your Apple Watch to be inspected and, if recommended, serviced / replaced (whether under warranty, if eligible, or via chargeable repair service):
