iCloud Scam Phone calls ? 855-225-6553

I got several of these calls today on my home phone. It was a coincidence I guess, that I was uploading photos from my iPhone to my computer at the time. Assuming it is a scam. I waited on the line once but it just disconnected.

Person will say something like:

"we are an authorized Apple service technician, and you received a call from the server because your Apple ID has been compromised by someone in another country"

They may ask if you "bank online or upload pictures, or have you been overseas?"

They will ask to have you go you your computer, go to a website (onlinenetworksolution.com) and enter your name- AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A KEY CODE TO ENTER.

I called back a few times just to see what they would say, I asked them:

What's my Apple ID? They hung up.

What's the name of your company? Hung up.

Where are you located? San Diego

Person on the phone usually has a mid-east accent.

THE ONLY INFO THEY HAD WAS MY PHONE NUMBER, not my name, not my Apple ID, not my email, they didn't even know if I had an Apple device.

So the same group of people calling about iCloud are now making random calls saying "your number came up from the main server at the IRS as a warning"..."please give me your name and address so that I can look up your account to see what the issue is"

Once again all they have is your number.

They don't have your name, your address or your social security number.

They DO have your location simply due to caller ID.

I've gotten a lot of these calls, both on land line (no connection with Apple) and cell phone. I don't have an icloud account. The number they wanted me to call was 844 619-0681. I also get calls supposedly from Microsoft saying I've been hacked. I do have microsoft for Mac, but didn't reply. I know of someone who did and the dummy gave them her cc number to fix it. ---$$.

People have reported getting calls like that and e-mails which say the same thing.

I had six (6) missed calls on my home phone saying to call back before i use icloud.

All 6 of them are scams.

They called our house 6 times today

I have received about 10 calls for my iCloud account being compromised. The current number that they are using is 855-658-366.

Don't call it.

I also hung up but have no idea who or what it was.

I just got two calls from "Molly" at apple support saying my icloud has been compromised and to call 855-265-9291.

I got a robo call today from 1 800 435 3736. Same story. Didn't even listen and hung up.
