How to stream 4k video on 4k tv over wifi or wire from MacBook 2012 ?.

Regarding this link Using 4K displays, 5K displays, and Ultra HD TVs with your Mac - Apple Support, my Mid 2012 Mac Book doesn't support streaming 4k content. I want to know all possible options to stream 4k video file, especially .mkv to my 4k TV.
