My alarm on my iPhone (10.2.1) makes no sound when ringer is set to silent, only vibrates. Almost missed a few wake-ups. Never had this problem before. I generally keep my ringer off but the alarm always worked before. Is this a bug?
Actually I called AppleCare and was told to reset my settings and that corrected my problems (doesn't loose any of your pictures or apps also!)
I am also having this issue, the only way I've been able to correct it, is to slide up the ringer switch on the side, before bed.

Which settings did you have to reset??
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.
