OS Sierra and Mac Pro 3,1 early 2008

I read somewhere that OS Sierra is not very compatible with the Mac Pro 3,1 early 2008 - i read that bit of caution before Sierra was released and I have avoided updating my system from El Capitan to Sierra - Advice would be appreciated - thanks!

Sierra does not support Mac Pro Early 2008.
