Fine or fake? No one can tell you when you purchase a used device from anywhere but Apple or Apple Refurnished:

We see a lot of posts from folks who purchased devices at other places and they wind up getting stuck. It may be because it's locked into the previous owner's Apple ID, or there might be a problem with the hardware. My best advice is to spend the extra money and get a "like new" product with a warranty.

I just saw that. Wow! Great price. I thought you were looking at a used one. If it's new, it should come with the full Apple warranty. So I have to retract what I said in my original post. And Kappy seems to know the reputation of the site.

Does "brand new" mean 2016/7 or some earlier year? This could be an older model still in the unopened box or it could be a fake. Alibaba is like Amazon in that many people can post items for sale that are not being sold by Alibaba. Therefore, you know nothing about their legitimacy. My take is if it seems to good to be true, then it probably isn't. Why would anyone sell a new MBP for $350 USD when they could get much more.

You'd have to look at the link I gave you to Apple Refurbished. It's doubtful that an Apple refurbished Mac would sell that cheaply, but as I said you are getting the Apple warranty and a guarantee that the Mac has been restored to excellent running condition. You get what you pay for.

They are legitimate.
