Is there a way to remove the blue line at the top of the iPad screen when using Apple Classroom to monitor student iPads?

Is there a way to remove the blue line at the top of the iPad screen when using Apple Classroom to monitor student iPads? I don't want them to be able to determine if I'm watching. I am using an Apple iPad Pro with students iPad Air 2's via the Apple Classroom app. We do not have individual Apple ID's.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch Wi-Fi, Cellular, iOS 10.2.1, null
