As the title says, I purchased a song and now there is an asterisk showing next to it in iTunes on my iMac and on my iPhone playlist and well as iPad Pro.
What does this mean?

Asterisk as in rating? If not, exactly where does this asterisk (do these asterisks) appear?
An error perhaps? 😕
Select the song, press Cmd+I to Get Info and amend the details to taste.

It appears where the title of the song should be.
THe title is missing. I have no idea why.
it was purchased and downloaded directly from Apple.

The title was missing so I just typed it in and it corrected it on all my iDevices automatically.
