If I buy a new Airport Extreme can I clone the settings on my current AirPort TimeCapsule?

I want to buy a new Airport Extreme. Is there a way to clone the exact settings on my current Airport TimeCapsule so that I do not have to reconfigure all 40+ wifi devices I have in my home? I want to see if there is a way to simply turn on the new router and have all my in-home wifi devices connect to the new router as if it was the old one without having to reconfigure all my devises. (Basically fool all devices into thinking its the same router). Having to reconnect all wifi devices to a new router would take forever! (tvs, apple tvs, printers, receivers, alarm components, cameras, timers, etc...) Thanks!!

Yes, when you configure your Airport Extreme use the options in the setup wizard.. and choose replace an existing device.

BUT when you do this.. the setup of the TC will be wiped at the end of the process so before you begin.. save the current configuration.

Here we go.

I will reset the TC to a replace something else.

Step 1. Click on the TC in the airport utility so you can see then summary page.. then click edit shown there.

Step 2. Now you can use Export configuration in the main menu.

Step 3. Now do the configuration of the Airport that will replace the TC.

Click on other wifi devices.

Click on the new device

The main screen of the setup wizard will choose some configuration. (wrong one).

And now is the spot where you fix things.. click on other options in bottom left corner.

And then you can choose the TC to replace it..

All or as many as possible of the setup configuration values will be transferred.. since they are not identical items not everything can be transferred but all your setup should be.
