Server 5.2 on a MacMini Server running macOS 10.12.3, the Stats stops showing any graph at all (Processor Usage, Memory Usage, Memory Pressure and Network Traffic) for the local server.
(There is no problem as connected to other Mac servers on the same network)

The steps are simple:
Stop the Server. Delete the file. Empty the Trash. Reboot the Mac. Start the Server.
Check that after a few minutes, data from the newly generated file appears and displayed in graphical format.

Removing the file was not enough, in my case that file didn't exist but the metrics.sqlite-journal did. Removing this file was also not enough.
After removing the directory /Library/Server/Metrics and rebooting, the stats are back 🙂

Delete the following file and empty the trash afterwards.
Library/Server/Metrics/metrics.sqlite
Restart the Server.
Check that your stats are working. It should be ok
