Why can't I download apps without payment method?

As you are not currently able to choose None as a payment method, even for downloading free apps and updating existing ones, the following support article explains why that is the case:

I'm afraid that no-one here can look into your billing issue to assist you directly. This is a user-based technical support community - you are not talking to Apple here.

I’ve tried about everything and nothing works

i have tried this a number of times and it still does not work

i have chosen “none” for my payment method but the cards details are still there.

whenever i try download and app it says verification required so it won’t let me download

please help me!!!!!!

Ya phone won’t download anything with out a credit card how to get around it
