Send note via Airdrop with Notes.app
Hi,
is there a way to share a note from Notes.app via Airdrop on macOS. This works without problems in iOS.
Had created a note in notes application .
Clicked on file > share > click on air drop .

I had the same issue: wasn't able to send a note via Airdrop from my macbookpro 2012 to my iphone 7. Normally it should have worked by dragging the note from the notes app to my user image in the airdrop window. But it didn't worked..the only way I found was to add myself as a participant to the note by using the menu item found on the left of the share button.
FWIW, I do little sharing between devices but, when I look at "Other" in the Notes.app Share menu, both AirDrop and Mail are greyed out so my conclusion is you can't AirDrop a Note.app note from Sierra.
I could be wrong. Perhaps someone will chime in.
It appears Airdrop doesn't work for the Notes application. You can try the button to the left and share the note.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

My Mac supports AirDrop and I have send many files from my Mac to my iOS devices. But I can't figure out a way to send notes from the Notes.app. There is not AirDrop feature in the share menu

Make sure that both devices can use AirDrop:
On Mac computers, choose Go from the menu bar in the Finder. If the Go menu includes AirDrop, that Mac can use AirDrop.
FWIW, if you create a note on your Mac, it should sync to your Notes app on iOS devices. At least it does on mine. There's no need to "Share" a note from one to the other.
I know that Notes.app supports iCloud sync. But I want to send the note to an iPhone which is not connected to my iCloud account.
