Hi, my iphone 5 ios 10.2.1 has a yellow edge all round the screen. I thought it is a phone problem, so i reboot, restore the phone but the yellow edge are still there. Is there any way to solve the yellow edge problem?
My warranty had expired. Wonder if Apple support in singapore will help in repairing the problem?

I think it's a hardware problem.

If the warranty has already expired, they will help you but you have to pay for the repairs.

There is no water leakage. I was told by an authorised support staff in Singapore that it is due to the glue melted and formed an outline around the edge. They insisted the screen needs to be replaced to solve the problem. 😢
it will cost a bomb for a screen replacement.
Was this iPhone purchased from a registered apple distributor correct? Because that shouldn't happen to the LCD unless you have water leakage. I am noticing a pink tinge to the screen as well.
Thanks Samuele for your reply. Seems that the labour cost and the screen replacement cost might not make the repairs cost effective. 😟
