find and replace with grep or wildcards

Can't seem to find any documentation for using grep or wildcards to find and replace. Is this even a feature in Numbers?

No, Numbers does not accept wildcards nor regular expression for find&replace.

  • Its Find operation gives options for whole word match and case-sensitivity only. The options are available under menu on the gear icon in the find&replace dialog.
  • Some wildcards are available for functions as matching parameter only. Get info about them (if necessary) by searching "wildcards" in menu "Help>Search"

Wayne,

I also have been a user of TextWranger. ( Actually since the age of BBEdit lite ... )

But, do you know BareBone decided to retire Textwranger?

So, I recently switched to BBEdit, which should give same (or more) features as TextWranger even unpaid after evaluation period.
