I have made multiple iMovies but for some reason my music isn't showing up on my iMovie auto option. How can i fix this?

I finally got mine to work!
I realized my music had not downloaded from iCloud. I was confused because it showed up in my library in iTunes. After downloading all my purchased from iCloud, everything seems to be showing up in iMovie.
In Safari under file menu select open file. In the window that appears look for music in the left column. Click on that and in the next column you should see iTunes and clicking on that will show your music. Does that work for you? If id does then the OS sees iTunes and your problem in iMovie is with iMovie. In that case try a new user in Mac and see if iMovie works ok for a new user. If not then I would reinstall iMovie.
When you click on the audio button above the media browser do you not see iTunes appear in the audio list in the left column? If not try opening iMovie holding down the command and option keys and delete preferences in the window that appears. Be sure you have iTunes 12.5.5.5 if you are using Sierra or El Capitan OS.
I have this same problem. iTunes does show up in the list, but when I click on it, it says that my iTunes library will be displayed here. But it never populates. I found a spot in iTunes preferences to share library with other apps. I have selected this option but still my library does not populate in iMovie.
I have deleted iMovie preferences. I believe the library is in the music folder. Where would I find iTunes in other apps such as Safari?? Sorry, I haven't spent a lot of time on a Mac computer. Still learning. Thanks in advance
Have you tried deleting iMovie preferences? Is your iTunes library in your music folder? Does iTunes show in other apps such as Safari?
