IPAD WATER DAMAGE

Hi, i have recently dropped my iPad Air 2 in my bathtub. I'm very concerned about the damage, because before this mishap the iPad had a large hole in the bezel where some of the components are visible. And i'm worried if it is beyond repair. NEED REPLY A.S.A.P I've had my iPad in rice for a few days. The screen doesn't turn on. What do you suggest is it worth taking it to get repaired ?

Water damage is not covered under warranty for iPhone and iPod, but if you have an extended warranty you may be eligible for accident damage coverage with an iPad. You would need to take it to apple for them to determine the extent of any damage and the cost if applicable.

Call apple at 1-800-MY-APPLE to speak with an Apple rep and make an appointment with an Authorized Apple Repair Center.
