finding last login date and time

I have Yosemite and I am unable to determine the last login date of time of a local user on my Mac. I am using Console to try to search for the user name and I am surprised I get find the users name.

any ideas why this is missing?

Speaking from personal experience, the last(1) command has been on UNIX machines for decades, and is not “extra software.” UNIX is not AI, and you have to ask it for information, especially history information such as last login time stamps.

The majority of us that respond to these posts are the administrator of our own machines, and do not boot to a non-administrative account to test if a command requires administrative privilege.
