exporting midi file from sibelius into logic

I export a midi tempo track from Sibelius into Logic in order to run Sibelius in Rewire mode. Rewire runs with no problem, but when I Bounce the project in real time, it runs through to the end but doesn't produce either the mixed MP3 or Aif audio file. An offline bounce DOES work, but of course, is of no use because the tempo of the Sibelius playback is chaotic. Audio only bounces also work O.K. so it would seem there is something faulty with the midi tempo track which is preventing the Bounce from completing. Has anyone had similar problems? I would add that I have successfully achieved a Bounce with an earlier project using Rewire and I haven't managed to discover any differences between what I did there with what I'm doing now in terms of settings, preferences etc.

I'm replying to my own question!.... Having experimented and made several trial-and-error runs, I have discovered the following: the end point, as set in the Bounce parameters must be early than the end point of both the audio tracks and the Sibelius file. In other words - extend the Sibelius file by sufficient blank bars and continue the audio file similarly such that the end point in the Bounce parameters can be set to a time earlier that either of those end points.
