Question marked as Apple recommended

It will have to be replaced. There is a charge for out of warranty replacement.

Me too! Mine bent by its own while kept alone to my locker at work then I took my lunch and noticed that the screen is no more aligned and realize a slight bend afterwards. The bent appears to be where the volume buttons are (down button to be exact). I went ahead to report it and I was told at the store that if the phone is bent the warranty is voided?! Seriously! I wanna cry that time cause been using the handset for 5 months only now they can't replace it for something that's not my fault? The phone is over heating and I remember I asked a lady from apple store 1 week after i bought it that it is normal for the phone to experience heat when an app or game is running so i assume that it's normal but it's not. So I hope apple could help me in replacing this ip6+ of mine cause i love apple and this is my birthday gift to myself, my first ever apple gadget, you have no idea what are the things i sacrificed to save enough just to have one because here in the Philippines the financial situation is way far to US and other countries so it's not easy here to earn and save and spend the money you saved for something expensive that could've been spent for something more important but i want to have one that's why i bought it without hesitation because apple is known for its quality but now I'm facing to problems that needs to be resolved for me to move on. Aside from being bent, there's also 3 other issues that my phone has (more on software and camera). I went to ifix (2nd attempt) but heard same exact thing but they suggested me to escalate it then i spoke to a Rep in singapore he transferred me to his manager or tech rep (not sure of) after the long hold they offered me to pay half-price of the phone if i insist a replacement! Can anyone help with this please?

Sorry. It did not bend "by its own". Basic physics says that's not possible.

This is a user forum. Apple is not here. There is nothing anyone here can do for you.

Your phone has been physically damaged. Pay for an out of warranty replacement and be more careful with the next one.

I know to myself that I'm careful with my things and there's no scratch or dents on the bent area that will determine that the phone experienced a physical damaged. I never put it in to my pocket cause it's large I always put it inside my bag which is more safer and i don't let anyone aside from me use it. I know this is a forum i just wanted to vent out knowing that no one here could help me so for others will know that the phone6 series is not durable unlike early iphones before it that's why they released ip7 immediately to cover issues that ip6 and6+ has. They know it for sure. I watched a lot of youtube vids and funny, same exact location "weak point" of the phone is being shown. How come in this forum, I read one here her phone got replaced due to bent. Is it depends on the store? country? or what? that sounds unfair that why I'm here to set the record straight. Just saying. I'm not mad just disappointed.

The advice the same whatever. Take it back to Apple. If they accept that it bent all by itself, they'll replace it under warranty. If they don't they'll offer to sell you an out of warranty replacement.

.... and don't believe everything on YouTube.

Mine actually look straight from afar. You wouldn't see the bent actually unless you know it's bent. Very slight bent not going to be like "L" shaped bent. Not like that. Well, thanks for your suggestion. It is more helpful when you talk to someone in the forum cause the fact they also know where you are coming from. I'm also a customer Rep and also been a tech Rep for almost a year and i know that all company has policy but there's always an exception to policy, for sure. It's a matter of understanding and how you see things more in transparent way.

What i meant by that if the stuffs you're selling is defective. Am i Right? It is not right for the consumer to suffer for something that manufacturer can cover or anything technical. Correct? I know nothings perfect. You wouldn't know that a device is gonna work 100% quality as you expected it is to be, sometimes it fails.

No. You are NOT correct on at least two different levels.

1. The phone is NOT "defective". It does not bend by itself. Physical force is required to bend it. SIGNIFICANT physical force. This has been proven in independent testing.

2. "We" are not selling anything. You are NOT talking to Apple. This is a user forum.

Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only one! The misuse of that adage irks me.
