iPhone Camera Roll Not Loading

Hello, so this whole thing started about a week ago, I was playing a game on my iPhone 6, when the game started running at like 3 FPS, then i tried to restart my iphone and the whole phone went black and I couldn't turn it on for an hour. Not good. Anyways, everything seemed fine a few days after that, my phone was glitching a little bit, with little episodes of the total freeze mode. But just yesterday, things got weird. I opened up my iPhone and tried to post on Instagram, all my pictures loaded up fuzzy and in really low resolution. When I went to my camera roll I noticed that I only had about 1/16 of my photos in there. I had photos that were 2 years old pop up, but all my recent photos no where in sight. I restarted my phone, an this time they slowly started "syncing" back. I have about 6000 photos, and once they all synced back, my phone went black, crashed out of camera roll, and when I opened it back up, I had no photos.

I checked my storage, and just like usual about 32GB of my storage were taken up by camera roll, so I figured it was just an error loading them.

After this I tried to get my photos onto a laptop, but when I tried copying them, it said "failed to copy" due to corruption of the files. Same thing happens when I try and delete my photos. I think that it's probably time to get a new phone, but I don't have the money to right now. Any help would be appreciated, I want my photos back!

Try holding down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears and then allow the device to reboot.

If a restart does not help try a System Restore. First backup your device using iTunes. Also import your photos to your computer and copy all important data. Try restoring as New first and testing it. If it works then try restoring the backup and test it again. The backup could be corrupted and if so you would have to restore as new again. Since you already tried to copy the photos to your computer and also making a backup, both to no avail, I see no other option but to erase the phone. I would wait a bit to see anyone else has other ideas.

If not I would:

Erase your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Tried to restore using iCloud first, failed right off the bat.

After that used iTunes, after started the backup, said that the iPhone connection had been reset. It was still plugged in and fine, no apparent sign that it became unplugged. 😟

Held down the two buttons, but right before the apple popped up, a grey glitch looking screen popped up. After that I opened up albums, they started syncing again, but about halfway through the photos app crashed. Took a minute to restart, but when it re-opened all the albums said 0 photos.

Then try the system restore as I mentioned above. If it does not work I suspect a hardware issue.

I can't seem to back up my iPhone, just says "could not back up due to error" should I just give up on saving my pictures and focus more on getting my iPhone to run right?
