Error code 500

I have the newest Apple TV device and when I'm viewing using one of the apps, I get an error code 500 when the show ends? At times it can take up to 15 minutes into the next show to reconnect. It is a live streaming show from the U.K. And wonder if it's on thier end. Friends watch the same show on Roku without any interruptions. Does anyone have any insight to this problem, besides not watching it anymore!
