"New from your artists" Gone? Why?

I've been getting constant "updates" from Apple over the years. I can't remember the last time I actually discovered a USEFUL new feature. In fact the UI navigation has become LESS fluid over time. And now it seems a very useful feature is MIA:

Where is the "New from your artists" field at the iTunes store? This was an easy way to find new releases from artists I have followed over time. And I still purchase many albums each year. I really don't care about the Genius Recommendations. Why would Apple make it more difficult to make purchases? Do I really have to periodically search for new releases by each artist?

Perhaps the feature has been moved and I missed it. If so, why?

I don't understand your post.

I guess the explanation is something like "this feature has been moved" as you say. It does look somewhat different these days. I personally don't use it, but here are some of the ways you can get there:

  • Use iTunes' menu to go to:
    • Account > Choose Artists for You ...
    • Account > Profile > Automatically Follow Artists = "Check"
  • Find an artist of interest in your library's Artist view. Control -click on the artist name and choose Go To > Show in iTunes Store. You should then see "New Albums + Collections" at the top.

This is one of my favorite things in the iTunes store also. I've noticed that the feature is still there -- it's just very flaky as to whether it shows or not. When it is not showing, I've found that if I leave the iTunes store by clicking on one of the other tabs (For You, Browse, Radio) and then return to the store the "New from Your Artists" view will be there on the bottom row maybe 20% of the time. If it isn't, I keep clicking back and forth until it shows.

Annoying that it's not "always" there -- but it's not completely gone. Unsure if it's some sort of A/B test, a bug, or an issue with large libraries. (I have 17K songs in iTunes)

Here's a screenshot I just took after I got it to appear today:

It's unfortunate that Apple doesn't allow users to cusomize the user's storefront to show what we are interested in seeing, which is for many of us and all of us here, "New from your artists".

This section comes and goes, and I have no idea why. Sometimes it reapears for a week, and then tells me there isn't anything new while showing me the album art.

Could we at least get rid of the Zane Lowe section? Who is that anyway and why should I care?

I just saw it on iTunes today (01.12.18) but when I clicked on see all - it said there were no results, even though there was a huge list. So I clicked on one item from the front page list, and when I went back to the main page the feature had been replaced with 4.99 albums. Weak. Come on Apple! You're throwing away money by not showing us music we don't know about from artists we already like! For instance I saw a new single from Nada Surf that I must have missed last year. Instantly bought it without listening first.
