thank you, I havnt had it that long and my wifi was turned off! yes I guessed it was a scam! wasn't downloading nothing! lol :-D

i just got a pop up and it said it was apple security and it took me to the app store to download and app, I closed it down so fast out of shock! then it popped up again not long after! now all I can remember it started with an A! dam it I wish I took notice! but IOS cant get a virus can it??

That was advertising. There are currently no virus that affect iPhones unless they have been jailbroken. What you experienced, a pop-up, is explained in the article Rudegar linked to.
