10.9.5, late 2012 mac mini. aluminum wireless keyboard. I changed batteries and now the keyboard won't pair. The computer sees the keyboard, but pairing fails each time. I tried many times. At first, I would get a code, which i entered, but was rejected. Now, no code, just rejection. I tried rebooting. no luck.
Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
I shut down, waited until the next day, unplugged the USB keyboard, held down the power button on the wireless KB, restarted the computer and the setup assistant came up and allowed me to connect. The keyboard works now.
No USB KB to get you going eh?
Yes. Using a USB keyboard now.
BTW, wireless mouse working fine.
