I've opened an email from noreply@support.appIe.com

I received an email from noreply@support.appIe.com saying that I made a £35 purchase on clash of clans (I don't or have ever played that game) so I panicked thinking someone had access to my account. Rushed into the link in the email and changed my password.

I then realised the email itself was a scam so I have changed my password to my Apple ID on an independent windows PC (not my Mac) again. Is there anything else I should do besides forwarding the email onto apple? Is there anything I should look out for incase I accidently let something into my phone/account.

Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

I keep getting similar emails about a dispute that needs resolving, and that someone in Nigeria has accessed my account. Make sure you never respond directly to these as the email is loaded for the scam with false links. You definitely did the right thing by changing your password straight away, have you set up the two stage verification? this will message your phone every time someone logs into your account and if not you, block it.
